Form & Seek Collective at Salone del Mobile

As part of the layers collective Ruben de la Rive Box will be taking part in the Layers exhibition during the Salone del Mobile in Ventura Lambrate.

At this exhibition Ruben will be showing two pieces from his Sediment collection, a collection of objects made from wood offcuts and an acrylic plaster mixed with pigments.

Ruben will also be showing two projects as part of design duo Rive·Roshan, Loom Divide and Through the Looking glass.

‘Through the Looking Glass’ at Istanbul Design Week

Like the ripples in a pond, the dunes in a desert or the waves of sound, nature seems to present us with patterns of regularity and harmony. But as humans we’ve always had the urge to look further than this tranquil surface. Science has shown us the microscopic and even molecular structure that make up our world. What we discovered were complex and wild landscapes of small particles and energy.

During the Vitra Summer Workshop programme at ‘Domaine de Boisbuchet’ Ruben de la Rive Box and Jorge Penades have designed a tree bench for two as part of the Tomás Alonso workshop ‘up in the woods’.

Andaz Amsterdam featured on Dezeen

Andaz Amsterdam, the latest and greatest addition to the Amsterdam hotel offering, has been featured on leading design blog Dezeen. The hotel, designed by Marcel Wanders, incorporates heritage of the Dutch capital and also takes inspiration from the sites former function of public library.

Research trip to Iznik

During our visit to Istanbul we visited the Iznik Foundation, an organisation that has revived the ancient technique of producing Iznik style ceramics through years of academic research.
