Andaz Amsterdam featured on Dezeen

Andaz Amsterdam, the latest and greatest addition to the Amsterdam hotel offering, has been featured on leading design blog Dezeen. The hotel, designed by Marcel Wanders, incorporates heritage of the Dutch capital and also takes inspiration from the sites former function of public library.

Ruben de la Rive Box designed a five stories high wall graphic for the elevator shaft in the entrance area, portraying all different aspects of the history and heritage of Amsterdam and the former public library on the Prinsengracht location. The visual execution of wall graphic is a reference to the traditional Delft ceramic tiles.

The bathrooms in all guest rooms throughout the hotel are covered in a similar wallpaper designed by Ruben de la Rive Box, allowing guests to learn more about Amsterdam and Dutch history, and to never have a dull bathroom moment.
