Born in Naarden, The Netherlands in 1981, Ruben de la Rive Box grew up in a village 20 km south east of Amsterdam and moved to the capital at age 18. After graduating at the Interaction Design course at University of Arts Utrecht he worked in a post-graduate position at Royal Academy of the Arts in The Hague. After his position at the Royal Academy Ruben worked at the Agency UXUS in Amsterdam on branding, packaging and retail projects for clients such as H&M, Adidas, Nokia, Gillette and Stella McCartney.
In 2009 Ruben moved to the studio of Marcel Wanders, working closely with the product, interior and communications teams on projects for brands such as Moooi, Cappellini, Marks & Spencer, Andaz Hotels and Graham & Brown and Marcel Wanders himself. In 2011 Ruben moved to London, continuing to work with Marcel Wanders on freelance basis.
Currently Ruben works for a variety of clients in the fields of branding, packaging and products.
